Dr. Melissa Kovacevic moved to Colorado in late 2024 and is thrilled to be here! In her free time, Dr. K and her husband love to spend time outdoors. From running to hiking, they are always on the move. She is very excited to dip her toe into skiing, and we all know this is the perfect spot to start! When she is not at the office, or spending time in the great outdoors, you can find her relaxing with her bulldog, Tuna.
Dr. K is an energetic dentist that is enthusiastic about providing the best dental care to her patients, in a very welcoming and comfortable environment. She treats all of her patients like family and ensures that dental education and compassion are the main pillars of treatment.
Dr. Kovacevic received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh before earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Upon completing her Doctorate, Dr. Kovacevic advanced her studies through a General Practice Residency at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Her residency allowed Dr. Kovacevic to advance her skills in all facets of General Dentistry.
Following her time in Las Vegas, Dr. K moved to Virginia where she began to practice general dentistry in a private practice. Her expertise and experience include restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, preventative care, oral surgery, clear aligners, root canals and implant dentistry.
Joining the New Day Dentistry team in January 2025, Dr. K is very excited to provide exceptional comprehensive care to all patients.
